Mission Statement

To provide for the relief of poverty, misfortune, distress and helplessness of Aboriginal families and individuals through the provision of secure, affordable and culturally appropriate Aboriginal housing and other community services in the South Eastern Region of NSW.

Strategic and Operational Plan

The South Eastern Aboriginal Regional Management Services Board of Directions have developed the current Strategic and Operational plan in consultation with Aboriginal Communities, the consultation has set the fundamental direction for the organisation.

SEARMS developed its first Strategic and Operational Plan in 2004, with the assistance of the Aboriginal Communities of the far south coast. This plan provided SEARMS with a clear direction for the future and enabled achievement of its main goals - better housing for Aboriginal people.

SEARMS growth and sustainability remains a core characteristics of the organisation the Strategic Operational plan is a living document that remains responsive to a changing environment, the Strategic Plan is reviewed annually, and rolled forward to ensure a five-year plan is available prior to the commencement of the annual planning cycle.
