AHO Backlog Maintenance Program

In March 2018, after a comprehensive Expression of Interest, Scoping and Tendering process with the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) and some of our client organisations, SEARMS commenced a number of backlog maintenance programs.
Funding was available to compliant AHO Performance Assessment and Registration System (PARS) owners and/or housing providers to carry out services on their properties to bring them up to AHO Housing Standards.
The successful programs secured were for Bodalla Aboriginal Housing Company, Bodalla Local Aboriginal Land Council, Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council and Gunangarah Aborginal Corporation for Housing – a total of 60 properties.
The refurbishment and upgrade programs will be rolled out in batches over the 2018 calendar year.
